The good news is that botox is generally considered a lunchtime procedure — most people go back to normal activity the same day. The main things to avoid right after are lying down flat for a few hours, doing intense exercise, and touching or rubbing the injection sites. Bruising or swelling is possible but usually minor and can often be covered with makeup. The actual effects start showing in about 3–5 days and full results are usually visible by day 10-14. You likely won't have anything obvious to explain to anyone.
